GOLD FOR THE BARONS!
No Olympic gold for us (such brilliant memories of London 2012). But Hurray! We’ve been given a 4-star Gold ‘Quality in Tourism’ award.
OPEN FOR BUSINESS
After many months of detailed planning and a fantastically busy summer, lots of dust and a few tears, we’re now open for business. We are very proud to introduce our first two serviced rental apartments in 20 The Barons. As you can see from the pictures, we are offering superb serviced accommodation in the Arlington Suite and Hill View Loft.
AUTUMN WONDERLAND
If you are planning to stay with us this November you will experience the rich autumnal colours of leafy St Margarets. The bustling Richmond river-front is a bit quieter this time of year. On a crisp autumn day, why not take a gentle stroll along the banks of the Thames and visit one of Richmond’s many excellent bars or restaurants. Alternatively you could enjoy a horse ride in Richmond Park or Bushy Park or take a cruise down the Thames from Hampton Court all the way to Central London.
FACE IT, CHRISTMAS IS COMING
The onset of December brings an array of festive events. The Christmas lights are switched on in Richmond on November 30th and in St Margarets on the December 9th. In our view, however, nothing is quite as ‘Christmassy’, as the Month of Magic starting on December 1st at Kew Gardens. Snow or no snow, get in the mood with Santa’s Grotto, a vintage carousel and plenty of late night retail therapy-with tasty Christmas treats and equally tasty shopping deals.
BEHIND YOU!
Richmond Theatre was built in 1899 and is situated on the pretty Green in the centre of Richmond. From December 7 to January 13 it is home to a typically eccentric, truly British and wonderfully funny production of the classic panto ‘Aladdin’ – one for all the family to enjoy.
