The Crescent is a stunning and impressive apartment with huge rooms, high ceilings and a uniquely luminous feel.
The Crescent is a regal 2-bedroom apartment on the first floor of our Victorian mansion house. It overlooks The Barons and has French windows leading to a small balcony from which you can view the beautiful architecture of our neighbourhood.

Relax:  The wonderfully designed, European-style lounge is an impressive room furnished with plush fabrics, welcoming sofas and snuggler chairs. With its period fireplace, high ceilings and cornicing, it is a bright and charming room in which to entertain or unwind. Hi-speed WiFi and Smart TV technology with full Sky package provide for all your entertainment and communication needs.

Sleep:  The Crescent sleeps 3+. The master bedroom is breathtaking, spacious and exquisitely decorated, with a period fireplace, large windows offering sweeping views of the garden, and beautiful built-in wardrobes. The Feather & Black bed and luxury bedding ensure a good night’s rest. The chic second bedroom offers maximum flexibility: it has a daybed that converts into a double or two singles, or we can provide a cot to create a nursery or a desk to make a study.

Eat:  The Crescent kitchen features fine granite work surfaces and a contemporary glass splashback, with integrated Siemens appliances. It is equipped with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, washer-dryer, plus table, chairs and television to create a space for serious cooking, entertaining, or spending time with the family.

Refresh:  The bathroom is fitted with slipper bath and large walk-in shower, finished with porcelain tiles and underfloor heating, and furnished with pampering toiletries.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Barons. The apartment is spotlessly clean, modern and very spacious. On our arrival, Alison brought a wonderful supply of breakfast supplies, cereals etc and it was clear that she had taken into consideration that we were travelling with children. We had booked the Crescent suite at The Barons back in January for a three-month stay as my husband started a new job in West London. Little did we know that we would arrive in the middle of lockdown! The Crescent proved to be the ideal location for us to self-isolate in comfort.
The apartment is spacious and east-west facing, with beautiful light. The furnishings and fittings are stylish and the apartment is very well equipped, providing a delightful sanctuary in which to spend our days, with a useful small second bedroom/study from where my husband could work undisturbed. Wonderful green spaces (Marble Hill park and the riverside path) are within 10 minutes’ walk. Tescos Metro (five minutes’ walk) provides all the essentials, and as places started to open again, we discovered all the delightful independent cafes, delis and shops along Crown Road. Whilst we didn’t go into London, St Margaret’s station provides a quick and easy link.
Ali and the girls looked after us very well, particularly given the circumstances.
The apartment was beautifully clean on our arrival and we were provided with a full welcome pack to enable us to settle in and maintain distance. Amy and Magda (housekeepers) lived downstairs and provided unobtrusive help and support throughout our stay. An example of their thoughtfulness was my birthday. I asked to use the communal garden to meet our children for the first time since lockdown. On the morning, they not only scrubbed and cleaned the furniture but strung up bunting and balloons and left a bottle and card on the table. This made an already special day even more so.
We would thoroughly recommend The Barons run by Ali and her team to couples and business people as an ideal location for a long term stay, where you can settle in in comfort. Mary-Ann M

An absolute gem of a place! I was lucky enough to stay at the Barons for the best part of a year when I relocated to the UK from Australia. I was in the Brooke Apartment on the lower ground floor. It was a wonderfully bright and cosy space, beautifully furnished with a fantastic fireplace, comfy bed, wonderful shower and modern kitchen A real bonus for me was the ability to access the gorgeous little garden at the back of the property. Ali and Jason did all they could to help me make the apartment my home away from home in the time I stayed there. St Margaret’s is a lovely village, and the Barons is perfectly located for all the cafes, restaurants and shops and 2 mins from the train station so it is really convenient. Richmond is little more than a 10 minute walk away. It is a truly beautiful property and i would highly recommend anyone staying there. Bryony B
